Meri Harli - Creative Director

Meri is a professional copywriter specializing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM or PPC) and also in search engine optimized copywritng - writing that works with search engines to get your site a higher ranking. She writes copy for web content, advertising, multimedia and corporate communications (reports, newsletters and intranet content).

Meri worked for Wired Digital in San Francisco, California (1996-1998) as part of the original HotWired team - the people who brought you the first web banner. In the USA she also worked for Broderbund Software (1995) on the multimedia game Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego.

In Australia she has worked for ANZ Bank, National Gallery of Victoria and most recently for Sensis Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of Telstra) with their marketing team.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with majors in Professional Writing and Literature. She also has a Certificate IV in Small Business Management and has completed a copywriting course at the Australian School of Copywriting.

Meri's writing experience covers everything from web copy, to SEO copy, SEM copy (AdWords ads), advertising, brochures, newsletters, interviews and more.

She is also a published poet and creative fiction writer.

Meri has passports to work in Australia, Finland (European Union) and the United States of America.

Meri works freelance or on a contractual basis in Australia and for overseas clients.

Lisa Sinclair - Technical Director

Lisa is a professional web designer, with skills in CSS, HTML and Flash which she uses to create innovative and engaging sites. Her role as web designer for Tall Poppy Digital has also helped her to hone her graphic design skills, and she is proficient in the use of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Her skills in copywriting have been put to great use in a recent AdWords campaign, and she is currently working on a website landing page for a Victorian small business.

Lisa also has experience in Copyediting, most notably on "Goth Nation Magazine", and also acted as editor, writer and copy editor of her own street magazine "The InkSlingers" during 2004 and 2005.

In the Technical Writing sphere, Lisa has had over ten years experience, giving her a firm grounding in the technical and non-technical world. Lisa specialises in the creation and design of easy to use, user-friendly procedural materials, and has additional skills in the creation of all aspects of document creation and design, including print manuals, specification documents, business requirements and design documentation. She is well versed in the creation and setup of WIKI systems and also has expert knowledge of MS Office products.

Analysis could be said to be one of Lisa's strongest skills, and her abilities in the breakdown of complex systems into easy to comprehend portions is evident in the documentation and diagrams she produces. These are all designed with a top-down philosophy, taking the whole -- the bigger picture -- and segmenting it into smaller, easier to understand pieces.

Past roles include a 9 month stint at Telstra during 2007 for the Transformation Project, 3 months at Sensis in 2006 for the disaster recovery project, and shorter-term contracts at DST International in 2006 and at MYOB in 2005.

She worked at Quest Software, as Systems Tester and then Technical Writer on various projects from 1999 to 2004.

She has an Australian and EU passport, allowing her to work both here in Australia and in Europe.
